Jon

Hello and welcome to Omeida Language College!  My name is Jon and I'm from Ohio in America.  I first came to Yangshuo two years ago to share my knowledge of English and my love of rock climbing.  I have been teaching at Omeida for more than one year and I love it!  It is exciting to meet so many students from all over China and to help them achieve their goals and get new and better jobs.  At Omeida, I have the opportunity to teach adults and children.  I also teach special business classes and even train new English teachers.  I have many interesting stories to share with my students about my time studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and working for the United States Air Force and the National Park Service in America.  But my 3 years of English teaching experience and my TEFL certificate are the most useful for me in teaching good lessons.  I think the best way to learn English is to use English every day.  You should always take the opportunity to go to another country if you can so that you must speak English!  But if you don’t have a chance to travel, there are so many foreigners in Yangshuo.  This is a great place to meet them and practice.  Good luck! 

Jon来自美国俄亥俄州，毕业于麻省理工大学，2009年加入欧美达。他执有国际英语教师资格证，曾在美国空军部队担任军官，退役后开始从事英语教学工作，先后游历过15个国家，在日本、中国等地教学多年。因为被阳朔的环境和欧美达的氛围所吸引，Jon再次回到欧美达任教。他教学轻松活泼，为人热情和蔼，做事认真负责，是广大学员的良师益友。同时，Jon爱好广泛，喜欢旅游，攀岩；同时，还能说一口流利的中文。

在Jon看来，要学好英语，最好的方法就是每天运用英语，而且我们要抓住机会周游世界，这样的话，我们就会迫使自己说英语。如果没有机会的出国的话，阳朔欧美达将会是你最好的选择。 

 Jon，擅长商务英语教学，他正在给BBC(初级商务英语班)的学员颁发商务毕业证书呢。 

人气颇高的Jon，他阳光活跃的身影经常出现在学校的各项活动中。 

在social night中，Jon在引导学员说英语，学员们正沉浸在这English only 美好的氛围中。
