What does it take to make life work
God said it’s really very simple
You think your life is about you
and your life has nothing to do with you
It is about everyone whose life you touch and the way in which you touch it
My life isn’t about me
it is about universal you in the sense that you
and everyone else are one
I’ve given you everything you need
You simply haven’t used what I've given you
All the wonderful things you think of as being supremely human
But you have imagined that your life is about you
So you think you’ve got to somehow gather
these things you think you don’t have
Or somewhat find a way to make yourself secure
In a world that doesn’t see you as who you really are
So you’ve got to do stuff to earn money
You got to do stuff to earn love
And you have to do stuff to make relationships work
And all these things you have to do
And all you would really have to do if you really got it was just
