Jim

My name is Jim Tilly and I was born in Denver, Colorado. I met Laura in Oregon and we moved to Alaska where I completed my education with a BA degree in Journalism and Public Communication. I started my own graphic design and marketing business in 1990 with my Russian partner. We opening a business in Shanghai in 2004 and during that time Laura and I traveled to Yangshuo and really loved the area. We met a teacher there and decided that is what we would like to do. I volunteered at a school in Alaska for people arriving from different countries who spoke little or no English. I really enjoyed the experience. I sold my business two years later and started teaching at Omeida. During our time at Omeida, I have seen many changes but one thing that remains constant is the wonderful relationship with the students. They are hardworking, dedicated and extremely friendly. I have enjoyed watching the school grow and become a very effective teaching school. 

2005年加入欧美达，美国人，拥有美国Oregon大学及Alaska大学学士学位。具有多年的市场营销、策划等商务经验，90年自创大型国际咨询服务公司。退休后的他作为一名ESL教师，曾在不同国家执教过，有着多年的教学经验。他擅长教授英语口语、商务英语、写作技巧等课程。来中国旅游后，对中国的文化及阳朔的生活有了很深的感触，热爱教育，故曾先后三次重返欧美达，并多次到中国上海、广地等地看望老学员，深受学员爱戴。 

身高1米98的Jim和身高1米97的Ian，可谓是omeida的2大巨人，他俩一站在一起，绝对能挡住你的视线，O(∩_∩)O哈哈~。cycling 是omeida师生们钟爱的一项运动，秋高气爽，Jim 说周末跟学生们去cycling总是不错的选择。

万圣节的party，师生们总是能别出心裁地乔装打扮，看Jim摇身一变，变成一个powerful海盗。

平易近人的Jim 和Laura 深受学生们的喜爱和欢迎，这是Jim和Laura还有我们院长去东莞参加一个老学员的婚礼。。。看，大家都沉浸在喜气洋洋地氛围中。
